Thurman Ray Nolan, son of Tobias and Elizabeth Nolan was born Feb 27, 1888 at their home 3 miles E. of Kingman, Indiana. He grew to manhood in this community where he had a host of friends. The past few years he has spent away where he had employment in different states. On June 12, 1918 he was united in marriage to Miss Mary Burroughs at Little Rock, Arkansas. He was taken ill at his home in Chicago Illinois where he passed away Aug 27, 1926 at 2:20 p.m. The body was brought to the home of his sister Mrs. Clara Gant where the funeral was held, being conducted by Rev. Levi Woody, interment at the Zackmire cemetery. He leaves to mourn his going his devoted wife, five borthers and four sisters and a host of other relatives and friends. His last visit to his home here was two years ago when he and his wife came to care for his father in his last illness which he did faithfully and tenderly.
